Hello LUG,

This week's talk on Thursday, 4/8 at 18:00 MST will be about the Java
Virtual Machine. If you've ever wondered what exactly the JRE does, or
have ever programmed in Java, Scala, Kotlin, or another JVM language,
this presentation is for you.

Also, the WAN Party will be this Friday, 4/9 starting at 18:00 and
going all night. It will be a fun opportunity to play online games or
just chat remotely with your fellow LUG members. Everyone is welcome
and you can stay for whatever span of time you prefer.

The Linux Help Session will be before Thursday's meeting, at 17:00.
Everyone at Mines is welcome. Both the meeting and the help session
will be completely remote using the Jitsi video conferencing platform.
Jitsi can be used in-browser without installing software onto your
computer. See [ https:// lug (dot) mines (dot) edu/covid ] for Jitsi
links (you must be logged in with Multipass). Links are subject to
change, so please revisit this page before a meeting or help session.
For a full schedule including past and future meetings, plus the
ability to add them to your Google Calendar, see [ https:// lug (dot)
mines (dot) edu / schedule ].
