Tomorrow, Derek Foundoulis will be giving a "crash course" on public
ledgers: a blockchain. If you are not familiar with blockchains, they
are a sequence of cryptographic records used to account information
openly in a verifiable and permanent way. They are the structure that
powers cryptocurrencies, and much much more!

So, if you want a crash course on them, why not you come?

Date: 2017-09-28
Time: 6 PM
Location: GC 297
Free food, as usual!

Also, a number of other things:

1. There's a Linux Help Session directly before hand at 5 PM in the same
room (look for Adam Frick)

2. LAN Party is Friday night, if you need a ride with your PC or can
help others by giving them a ride, fill out the ride coordination form
*by 3 PM today*:

... more details to come about the LAN party in another email soon ...

3. We're looking for more LUG talks (as always)! I'd be nice to get some
of the new students doing a talk... email me if you want to do one!
