Genscape is seeking a talented and driven Analyst to support and help advance our new Global Oil Supply & Demand product.
The individual in this position will be the first Analyst to help grow and develop Genscape's new Global Oil Analytics product and over time, this individual will become a subject matter expert in worldwide petroleum research and forecasting. This individual will also gain experience using imagery and satellite signals technology to facilitate transparency into specific activities in oil producing countries.
Primary responsibilities in this position will include maintaining country forecasts at the oil field level, processing satellite imagery and other signals into market-relevant indicators, and helping to write customer-facing reports and publications. The role will work closely with the Product Manager in data collection and data quality assessment, some of which is difficult to obtain, as well as creating frameworks through which to understand the geopolitical risks facing a variety of oil producing nations. This position will blend quantitative data analysis with real-time news flow analysis to help create a more accurate oil forecasting model.
The LNG Analyst will be a part of a small group dedicated to the support, development and delivery of LNG analytical products. The LNG Analyst with focus on delivering expert market analysis while ensuring our monitored and collected data are held to a high standard.
